Brighten Up Your Basement with Lighting
Basement lighting is one of the most over looked parts of a home. One bulb hanging in a basement makes the space feel dark, dirty and scary. Without light people tend to just let their stuff pile up and get ruined due to temperature, dust and a damp environment.The picture to the right is of a basement with one of the original style utility lights. It is just a socket hanging from a wire. The bulbs were updated to flourescent bulbs by the homeowner but the wiring was starting to look old. Old wiring can be a safety hazard as well.
