And while we do recommend exercising extreme caution whenever you’re dealing with a broken bulb, there’s one quick and easy way to get rid of it.

How To Remove A Broken Light Bulb From The Socket:

  1. They make electric wire nuts with two little wings that fit into candelabra sockets.
  2. Place the wire nut into the socket.
  3. Use the wings to break the remaining piece of the bulb loose.
  4. The base comes right out.
